Dal 14 al 23 settembre, la città britannica ha ospitato le decima edizione delLondon Design Festival: eventi, installazioni, workshop, mostre che hanno coinvolto designer, artisti, architetti, aziende, professionisti e anche turisti alla scoperta del crazy design londinese. Perché Londra è la città delle sperimentazioni e dell’eccesso. La città che osa e guarda al futuro.

100% Design è la fiera dedicata ai designer giovani e affermati e ai marchi internazionali. Per la prima volta divisa in 100% Interiors, 100% Office, 100% Kitchens&Batrooms, 100% Eco, Design&Build; per ognuna è stato allestito un hub dedicato a seminari e networking. Emerging Brands è stata pensata per le nuove scoperte. Chi? Young & Norgate, Felicity Dessewffy, Kirath Ghudoo, Plant & Moss, Vita, Analts Arthur (lettone, nominato nel suo paese “Best New Designer”), Julio Thomas, David Irwin, James Plant&James Moss, Lorna Syson, Emma Britton, David Irwin, Carlton Pezaro, Graham Tulett, Constanze Schweda, Je-Uk kim, Kate Cronin e Etienne Esmenjaud. Sono i designer internazionali da tener d’occhio per le tecniche artigianali, i prodotti dal design elegante e scultoreo, le sperimentazioni su tessile e tessuti, i materiali naturali che modellano e formano.

100% Design is the fair dedicated to both emerging and professional designers and to international brands. For the first time in its history, the installations will be divided into 100% Interiors, 100% Office, 100% Kitchens&Batrooms, 100% Eco, and Design&Build, each with a hub for seminaries and networking events.Emerging Brands is the space conceived for new discoveries, like Young & Norgate, Felicity Dessewffy,Kirath Ghudoo, Plant & Moss, Vita, Analts Arthur (Latvian artist nominated as “Best New Designer” in Latvia),Julio Thomas, David Irwin, James Plant&James Moss, Lorna Syson, Emma Britton, David Irwin, Carlton Pezaro, Graham Tulett, Constanze Schweda, Je-Uk kim, Kate Cronin and Etienne Esmenjaud.
