La Germania è in festa. Mentre Berlino si trasforma nella capitale del design e della creatività e aspetta l’autunno per l’annuale appuntamento con il Festival of Lights Egapark, uno dei parchi più belli e suggestivi della Germania, celebra l’estate con la Festa delle luci, un evento che ogni anno affascina più di 15 milioni di visitatori.

L’appuntamento è per il prossimo 13 agosto: spettacoli di musica, installazioni luminose, giochi di luci e colori. Per una notte, uno dei luoghi più caratteristici di Erfurt, un piccolo paese della Germania centrale, si trasforma e regala agli spettatori emozioni uniche: il parco diventa un giardino incantato, dall’atmosfera insieme mistica e misteriosa, grazie alle installazioni di artisti e lighting designer internazionali.

Germany is breaking out in celebration. While Berlin is transforming itself into the capital of design and creativity and waits for autumn for the annual appointment with the Festival of Lights, Egapark, one of the most beautiful and charming parks in Germany welcomes the summer with a special kind of light festival, an event that attracts over 15 million visitors every year.

The appointment is scheduled for August 13th: music, light installations, plays of light and colour. For one entire night, one of the most picturesque places in Erfurt, a small town in central Germany, transforms itself and gifts spectators with unique excitement: the park becomes an enchanted garden, with a mystic and mysterious atmosphere, thanks to the light installations of international artists and lighting designers.

Four different stages will be set in as many areas of the park: here concerts and dance performances will animate the evenings at Egapark. Rays of light will illuminate the celebrations and animate the architectural treasures hidden in the park like the amazing Schmetterlinghaus, the butterfly house.

The 35,000 square meters of surface area at Egapark will also be illuminated by lanterns and lamps to guide visitors through their promenade. Light will accompany the water plays of the fountains present in the park. The grand finale of the celebration is the spectacular fireworks display.
