New Fashion Trends for Spring and Summer 2015
As temperatures begin to warm up around the United States, fashionable men and women have changed up their wardrobe to reflect the summertime sun. Women show off their latest sundresses, shorts, and cute halter tops in June, July, and August, while young men have been looking into new Street style fashion fashion trends 2015 as well.
Camouflage Continues as Street Style Trend
While some critics of camouflage believed that the pattern was a momentary blip on the radar, the military-inspired print has been a persistently popular trend on the streets. And, if recent fashion shows are any indication, camouflage will continue to be a popular fashion trend through the end of 2015.
Various high-end fashion brands have used camouflage on their latest vests, jackets, pullovers, ponchos, sweaters, accessories, and pants. One of my favorite camouflage-related fashion trends for 2015 is the bomber-style camouflage coat with a fur-fringed hood.
Designers also showed off several camouflage print shirts and pullovers at fashion shows in Tokyo, Italy, and the United Kingdom. For example, Ashish showed an amazing sparkle camouflage sweater at a show in London a couple of months ago. Besides the sparkle element, the camouflage shirt is notable for its loose fit and flowing fabrics.
Other popular street style fashion fashion trends 2015 for women include pastel-colored skirts, boyfriend jeans, cropped tops, and layered outfits. On the other hand, designer sneakers have become a popular option for gentlemen wanting to augment their look. Adidas, Lanvin, Balenciaga, and Kanye West have all introduced high-end shoes in recent months that have energized the sneaker scene.
Spring and Summer Fashion Looks for 2015
Ladies wanting to make a visual statement should consider donning a pair of clear heels on their next night out. Clear heels combine a transparent heel and traditional shoe material to provide the wearer with some extra pop under the foot. The transparent heels are usually constructed from PVC.
Some fashion bloggers suggest that the transparent heels seen on many of today’s movie stars are reminiscent of Cinderella’s glass heels from the classic Disney animated film.
Women wanting to pair their transparent heels with a unique dress should consider purchasing an apron skirt. Apron skirts were designed to commemorate the classic skirts worn by waitresses, flight attendants, and nurses. Instead of boring industrial-colored fabrics, fashion designers have reinvigorated the time-honored apron skirt with chic materials. Apron skirts work well with riding boots and other knee-high footwear options, too.
From a materials standpoint, a fashion trend to look out for in the summer of 2015 is colored suede. Teal, rust, purple, and gold are the hues favored by most of the top designers.
